Sarah: In early 2019 started to feel off, with constant tension in my body and mind. I also had chronic, debilitating tennis elbow flare-ups monthly and pain from past sports injuries.
I have several fitness goals but initially, these were the four that I needed and found at NWPT:
After some research, I was impressed by the value, quality, amenities, and care of the trainers offered by NWPT compared to other options. It took months to finally reach my limit and make a commitment to personal training. I finally sent in my client questionnaire and made that initial assessment appointment and have pretty much been going three times a week ever since. The trainers at NWPT are all amazing people and have found that no matter which I am with, they will be personable, knowledgeable, take care of me, challenge me, and give a variety routine. I am never bored!
Results-wise, I have lost nearly 15 lbs. and lost inches in several areas of my body. Pain from previous sports injuries has disappeared and my tennis elbow flares up rarely. I love feeling this strong.
Dameion: Now that I’m in my 40’s, I realized that retirement will be coming up eventually. I want to go into retirement healthy. I have a bad knee injury from when I was younger and a shoulder injury that constantly hurt. Working with Travis for a year, my shoulder pain is nearly gone with only occasional slight discomfort. I have been able to exercise without having any issues with my knee.
My fitness goals were to lean up, put-on muscle mass, and have stronger legs for hiking and backpacking.
I can do 12 pull-ups, lunges until the cows come home, and wish I could train 5 days a week. I really enjoy the trainers I work with. Cody is my favorite. I also enjoy working with Jamie who is in tune with our goals. I had fun working with Judith and hope I never have Derrick again, LOL. Mostly, I will miss Travis since he was the first person I met who did my assessment and helped me with my pull-ups and heavy lifting.
My long-term goal is to train a minimum of 3 times a week ongoing for the rest of my life for health purposes.
The Smiths really appreciate NWPT! We do partner training at NWPT and consider it an investment in our health for now and for our future. We also think it sets a good example for our children as they enter adulthood. Hopefully, by seeing the health-related choices we make; they will prioritize their own health too. We have come a long way since starting and are excited about what we can accomplish next with NWPT.
