I don’t like to exercise for the sake of exercising and have never felt comfortable working out in a gym on my own. I want to be as healthy as I can for as long as I can so need to exercise, but I knew I needed someone to be accountable to. When the opportunity came up 6 months ago to participate in a study at NWPT, I decided to give it a try. I’ve really enjoyed working with Emily at NWPT, and not just because she’s my daughter! She listens to me and what’s going on with my body then pushes me to do more than I would ever do on my own. Once the study ended, I signed up for training and don’t plan on stopping. I enjoy the atmosphere and friendliness of everyone at NWPT. It’s the first gym where I’ve felt like I belong. I’m feeling stronger and more fit and am looking forward to doing more hiking and hitting the ball farther on the golf course this summer!
