Exercise and fitness have been an integral part of my life since childhood. I was on various tennis and swimming teams throughout elementary and high school. While I was not a star athlete, I loved being active and part of a team. I stopped competitive sports in college and began a 20 plus year routine of jogging five times a week. Several years ago, my knees gave clear signals that I needed to do a different form of exercise. Thus I began my foray into the world of gyms. Over the years I have been to gyms all over the country from Honolulu to Washington D.C. I love group exercise (shades of my childhood?). Based on my extensive gym participation, I can say without qualification that NWPT is the best for several reason including: excellent instructors, well designed classes, wide variety of exercises, innovative uses of equipment, attention to detail, providing modification as needed, always supportive and encouraging. Thanks to NWPT’s staff and expertise, I feel that I am in the best shape ever. I look forward to continuing to participate in group classes into the foreseeable future. I also appreciate the various community activities supported by NWPT. |
