I retired from the military in 2009 and basically put daily physical training on the shelf. Then I moved to the Pacific Northwest, land of delicious food, beer, and wine; the trifecta of indulgence! Couple that triple threat with a lethargic lifestyle, oh boy, I was quickly becoming seriously unhealthy. I was encouraged to “check out” NWPT by my husband during the 2014 Mother’s Day Special. From the minute I walked through the door, I felt something special, something different, and something meaningful. Cody was my first encounter. Those who have had the pleasure of working with Cody cannot help but be infused with his enthusiasm. He worked up a training plan for me; Group Classes three times a week and 12 hours of personal training… I was on my way! I started Bootcamp with Lacy, yeow – is that a work out. I have burned and blasted with both Jill and Marjika in the Muscle Tone & Sculpt classes. And learned to really challenge myself in the Shockwave class! I’ve recently added Adrenaline Cycle into my workout (serious yeowza) and am motivated to see those results as well as 12 more personal training sessions with Marjika (bring it)! On October 12th, I exceeded one of my short-term goals of running a 5k, by running 4 of 6.5 Quarter Marathon miles during the Girlfriends Run for a Cure! Woot Woot. Sherri, you and your my TEAM are absolutely terrific. I always look forward to coming to the studio and appreciate the encouragement, support, energy, challenge and fun we have each and every day! |
