NWPT has totally transformed my relationship with fitness! 18 months in and I’ve crushed my initial goals related to weight and pain management. Everyone in the community is incredibly positive and welcoming, and the focus on routine, learning, and continual improvement has been absolutely crucial for my success.
I live with arthritis and chronic pain, and I was at a low-point when I joined. My goals were to confidently grip/turn door handles and bend over to tie shoelaces. I can definitely do those things now, in addition to confidently manipulating much heavier weights than I thought would be possible for me. Part of that was finding the right medication, but my doctor stressed that it may stop working one day, and that the fitter I am at that point, the better my quality-of-life will be. So my goals now are around continual improvement and just continuing to sustain a high quality-of-life which is relatively pain-free.
I’ve learned so much from my trainer Maddie, and before that Amber (thank you both!) that I now workout independently at home in addition to personal training and group classes at NWPT. I tried some local gyms before getting home equipment, but found the vibe did not reach my expectations after so long at NWPT. Sherri, if you ever want to expand to have a drop-in workout area for members, you have my credit card details.
TL;DR, I highly recommend NWPT!
