I joined NWPT in February of 2021 and since then, I have been training with Jess consistently every Saturday morning. I have always thought of myself as a relatively healthy and fit person, love being outdoors, especially hiking in the Pacific Northwest! I’ve had gym memberships in the past but seeing others lifting heavy weights and using all the different machines was always intimidating. I could never figure out a “routine” and end up on a treadmill before leaving. Ultimately, this always lead to boredom, and memberships came and went. I work in a stressful and sometimes physically demanding environment, over the last couple of years have developed aches and pains that I’ve attributed to a lack of strength and flexibility. I was looking for new motivation and something different, also a time in my life where I felt I could afford personal training. It is my investment to maintain a strong and healthy body! Training with Jess has been wonderful. After a stressful week of work, there is something about showing up on a Saturday and not having to make any decisions and have a routine already mapped out for you. It has been a wonderful way to kickstart my weekends and something I look forward to continuing!
