As a fitness professional, I am here to provide you with the knowledge and skills to become a happier, healthier and stronger person mentally and physically at every stage of life.
My approach to living a healthy and satisfying life is embodied by two quotes too long to share here, but I will summarize them as take chances, risk greatly – for only by being in the game can you succeed.
Our bodies are a conduit for everything in life; the thoughts, the breath, and the movements throughout the world and the subtle movements within. The better we treat our bodies and minds, the better we feel. We feel sharper physically and intellectually. We are more compassionate, and able to act with deeper empathy. We are stronger and faster, lighter on our feet, able to play with our children or grandchildren, and more likely to enjoy our lives.
After a 32 year career in engineering and engineering management, Bob retired and pursued his passion for physical fitness and wrestling. In the twelve months since retiring he has gotten the training and certifications to work as a personal and group trainer. His background as a successful collegiate athlete, competitive age group long-distance runner, and high school wrestling coach have prepared him well for this transition.
Bob is passionate about working with individuals of all ages and fitness levels to help them achieve the maximum level of functional movement that their bodies are capable of to live life to the fullest.
