From the friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere as you enter the building to the end of a tough training session, every aspect of the NWPT experience is excellent. The variety of equipment, group sessions, and special events that provide a well-rounded fitness plan have kept me coming for over 5 years.
During my time with NWPT, I started from a point where stretches were difficult. Now, I can complete a full intense workout that I never thought was possible for my aging body. A special shout-out to Nick, my personal trainer, who adapts my fitness plan according to my goals but also to the current condition of my body. His knowledge base provides the necessary exercises and answers to why they are effective, satisfying my desire to know the latest exercise physiology research. Beyond exercises, I get tips for healthy eating and living and stress reduction. I even get book recommendations!
Even when I was going through a health crisis, Nick was able to adapt the plan, so I would not lose ground. I am deeply thankful for Nick, and all the staff at NWPT, as I am now back to doing what I love – climbing in the mountains and backpacking with my family.
