“Slow and Steady is still Moving Forward!”
That statement is my new mindset. After years of having a remote computer job, sitting at my desk took a toll on my physical health. I have a gym membership, a beautiful park across the street and the beautiful Pacific Northwest as my backyard – and yet, I lost all motivation to just – Move. I spent my entire day sitting at my standing desk and looking outside, wondering how I got here!
Near the end of 2025, I knew it was time to do something about this. I looked online and researched options for personal training. Northwest Personal Training jumped out as the top option for me. It is a smaller, more personalized studio which I like, their staff has years & years of experience, location is super convenient, and the holistic longer-term 30min 2x per week program seemed like a good approach for me!

I’m seeing results that I didn’t expect so soon like more energy, flexibility, strength and lost some weight too! For the first time in many years, I have the belief I can keep going on this journey of improving my physical health, as well as getting back to my passion which is being outdoors like my photo shows one example of!
