When I came to NWPT last August I was in the worst shape of my life and was encouraged by my family and doctor to “do something different” as my health and general attitude were in a bad place. I had checked out emotionally after the unexpected death of my brother, and struggled with poor eating and workout habits. NWPT and my personal trainer, Amy, had a significant positive impact on all of this. She established a trust with me that broke through my initial pessimism about fitness. Her positive and energetic approach made it fun to work out, and in no time I was scheduling multiple visits per week for personal and group training. I get excited to work out with Amy, and the environment all the Trainers and staff have established at NWPT is positive and encouraging. The results are beyond my original expectations – I’ve lost 20 pounds, I received a healthy check up from my doctor, and I’m stronger than any time in the past 20 years! The most rewarding experience has been the transformation to a more balanced, energetic, and positive attitude toward fitness and life in general. Thank you Amy and NWPT!! |
