This workout will progress participants from moving better to moving athletically.  Achieve maximum metabolic outputs while minimizing the risk of post workout pain. Through effective warm-up & cuing this workout will safely bring out the best in every client. Using a variety of portable tools, we'll apply the science of vibration & progressive overload. You'll leave with a complete 1hr fascially driven workout designed to create an athletic, fun & competitive movement-based training environment.

    Programming People Not Exercises
    Chad Benson (Lecture)

Do you have an amazing training toolbox, without the current client database, results or desired retention? Clients & potential clients don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. In this session you will learn how to create a People 1st training experience; inside and outside of the training hour. Many trainers & strength coaches spend their entire professional development budget learning hard skills, relying on their personality and scientifically backed knowledge to wow client’s. Building trust, creating goal-oriented accountability and matching training programs to the client’s personality is also a science; the sciences of communication, psychology and behavioral economics. This seminar will practically engage and leave you with serviceable skills guaranteed to impact your bottom line, programming & how you engage client’s on Mon.

Hyperice Mobility Hacks: Advanced Glute Activation
    Chad Benson (Workshop)
Glute amnesia is very prominent, leads to deactivated glutes and is multifactorial in cause. Lower cross posture, the sitting disease, bad exercise choice and poor, biomechanically inefficient technique all lead to 1. wasted time 2. poor glute performance 3. lower back and hip pain. This seminar will integrate the Hyperice Sphere / Vyper & will guide you through the most effective triplanar gluteal assessments & exercises.
    - OR -
    Stretch or Foam Roll?
Derrick DeLay and Marijka Morgunov (Active)
Is it better to stretch or foam roll? If you stretch should you do passive or active stretching? Do you want to create flexibility or mobility? In this research backed session you will learn why all these modalities are useful, in what situations, and how to integrate them into your training sessions. You will not only learn the science of stretching/mobility in this session, you will also get plenty of hands on practice.

    3:00pm – 5:00pm
    Technique Matters: Hinge & Lunge
    Chad Benson (Workshop)
Simply stated - technique matters. These fundamental movements are rarely instructed & progressed well. Whether the training environment is rehab, PT, group fitness, athletic conditioning, or recreational activity, setting clients up for goal-based success requires systematic methods to: 1. Observe when movement technique is compromised 2. Assess & ReAssess the current state of the nervous system 3. Use this information to create a safe and highly engaged training environment via effective Coaching. This session will teach trainers to assess, muscle test, activate & progress the hinge (deadlift) / lunge & push patterns from low (sensorimotor) to high function (athletic movement).
